Two blokes copped a charge after the jacks raided a unit in Penrith and found an arsenal that’d make a medieval knight blush. The crew hit Rodley Ave Friday arvo, nabbin’ two rifles, ammo, a shortened rifle, revolvers, crossbows, nunchucks, mace, a high-powered laser, knuckle-dusters, a throwing knife, a spear gun, ornamental axes and daggers, air pistols, Gel Blasters, cash, and suspected stolen gear.
The 27-year-old mate was slapped with 59 charges — from firearms to drug supply and dealing in stolen goods. The 43-year-old copped charges for holding stolen stuff and possessing housebreaking tools. Both were refused bail and are headin’ to the Bail Division Court tomorrow. Fair dinkum, they’re not gettin’ out anytime soon.
All the seized items will be put under the forensic microscope. Looks like these blokes are in for a long stint behind bars.
