💰 The boys in blue just pulled off a massive bust in Vado Ligure, Italy. They found 1,700 pounds of coke hidden in a refrigerated container full of bananas. That's 650 packages of 'extremely pure cocaine,' according to the Guardia di Finanza. If this stuff hit the streets, it would’ve been worth nearly $290 million.
The bust was part of an ongoing op targeting shipping routes from South America to Europe. Vado Ligure’s a key port, making it a prime spot for traffickers. The Guardia di Finanza said they’re working hard to protect the community and stop these shipments from reaching the streets.
This comes on the heels of another big bust in Texas, where CBP officers found over 1,100 pounds of coke hidden in a truck full of cabbage. Both operations show that law enforcement ain’t playin’ when it comes to stopping these massive drug hauls.
