MEXICAN NATIONAL SENTENCED FOR FEDERAL DRUG CRIME 📝

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma ain’t playin’ games. Jorge Luis Mejia-Mejia, a 40-year-old from Mexico, just copped to 57 months in the clink for one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl. Back on March 29, 2025, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper was doin’ his thing on Interstate 40 near Sallisaw when he pulled over a suspicious ride. Popped the hood and what do you know? Over 878 grams of fentanyl, hid in plain sight in an airbag panel. Mejia-Mejia tried to play it cool, but the boys in blue weren’t havin’ it. Now he’s facin’ some serious time for his troubles.
