A drug dealer’s lavish lifestyle came to a screeching halt after his ex-girlfriend rumbled him and called the feds. Ronnie Beardmore, 22, from New Brighton, Wirral, was living large off his illegal earnings—funding a £12,000 holiday to Thailand and splashing out on a Rolex watch. But it all went south when his ex tipped off the police about his stash.
The tip led cops to a flat where they found a sawn-off shotgun, a converted blank-firing pistol, and drugs hidden in an Under Armour rucksack, Aldi bags, and even Kinder eggs. The haul included 430g of cocaine, 48.1g of heroin, 647g of cannabis, and 426g of cannabis resin, worth tens of thousands.
Beardmore’s ex also alleged he forced her to drive him around while dealing drugs and used her flat as a stash house. The court heard that the firearms were likely his own, not just minding for someone else. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges and was sentenced to 11 years and eight months in HMP Liverpool.
Judge Brian Cummings KC said, 'You were fully involved and fully in control of your own activities. Drug trafficking and firearms offences are extremely serious.'
