In a dramatic bust that could've been straight outta a caper film, three Hull residents found themselves in the crosshairs of the old bill after one dodgy parcel from India got intercepted. Christopher Gamble, Stacey Hilton, and Jade Gnocchi were all part of an 'extensive enterprise' movin' Class C drugs like Pregabalin through the post.
Gamble, 36, was the main man, importin' the goods from India in thick and fast batches. Hilton, 41, helped distribute the pills to users, while Gnocchi, 28, provided a safe place for the stash and the cash. When the feds swooped on their homes, they found blister packs galore, prescription tablets, and even £2,940 in dirty money.
The judge at Hull Crown Court laid it down straight: 'It was a pretty thriving little enterprise, but you got lucky with Class C drugs. If it were Class A or B, you’d be doin' hard time.' Gamble copped a six-month suspended sentence and 15 days’ rehab. Hilton got four months suspended and 10 days’ rehab. Gnocchi had to put in 60 hours of unpaid work.
The judge made it clear: 'If you get involved again, this chance is gone.' Looks like these roadman are gonna have to go legit or risk doin' serious time.
