The boys in Dauphin, Manitoba, kicked down the door of Inky Mark, a former federal politician, and seized a massive arsenal. The haul: 439 firearms, an antique cannon, and $300,000 in cash. Mark, who served as MP from 1997 to 2010, is now facing multiple charges, including firearms trafficking and unsafe storage. 🌿 RCMP Cpl. Barry Kirby said the investigation will take weeks to sort out the details, but they already know at least three of the weapons were illegally trafficked. β€œYou can collect as many guns as you want, legally,” Kirby noted. β€œBut when it turns into trafficking and unsafe storage, that’s where it gets sketchy.” The case started with a 73-year-old Dauphin man facing U.S. firearms charges. The RCMP followed the trail and found more illegal weapons at Mark's place. Scott McMurchy, commanding officer of Manitoba RCMP, emphasized the danger: β€œThese unregistered guns can fuel violence and support organized crime. We’re here to keep our communities safe.”
