The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Vancouver Police Emergency Response Team kicked down Dylan James Kennedy’s door in August 2024, netting a haul of weapons and drugs. The raid turned up six firearms, including two 3D-printed Glocks, a semi-auto rifle, and an array of replica guns and accessories. They also seized cocaine, ketamine, MDA, MDMA, and drug paraphernalia. Kennedy’s charges stack up to 21 counts, covering everything from careless firearm storage to possession for trafficking. He appeared in Vancouver Provincial Court on April 7 and was released on bail pending trial. Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree hailed the bust as a win against gun violence, while CBSA Regional Director General Nina Patel thanked the VPD for their support. The operation underscores the CBSA’s commitment to keeping illegal guns and drugs off Canadian streets.
