The boys kicked down a couple of doors and clapped four suspects in Moncton, New Brunswick. Over one kilogram of fentanyl was seized, along with methamphetamine, illegal cigarettes, and cash. Catherine Joy Cook, 58, and Jessie-Lynn Fillmore, 28, were the ones who did serious time.
Cook copped a plea to possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and got seven years, ten months, and seven days behind bars, minus time served. She also has a 10-year weapons prohibition and had to give a DNA sample. Fillmore faced an even harsher sentence: eight years in the clink with the same prohibitions.
Staff Sergeant Joel Arsenault from the Codiac Regional RCMP made it clear: 'Fentanyl continues to have devastating impacts on individuals, families, and communities across the province.' The boys are keeping a watchful eye and urge anyone with tips to come forward. You can reach them through Crime Stoppers or their secure P3 Mobile App.
