A 17-year-old with ties to an offshore crime syndicate got nabbed by Victorian cops after a string of mysterious notes started showing up around Melbourne. The kid's been charged with drug trafficking, dealing in suspected proceeds of crime, and possessing counterfeit cash ๐ฐ.
Police reckon the teen was running errands for The Commission, linked to Kazem Hamadโa drug kingpin doing life in Iraq. Detective Inspector Graham Banks laid it out: "We're hitting every level of this syndicate. Young kids are being lured by promises of easy money and encrypted anonymity, but there's nothing easy about the consequences."
Operation Eclipse is on a warpath against the syndicate responsible for arson attacks and other violence in Melbourne. The teen will face the music in children's court later ๐.
