๐Ÿ’ฅ CRIME NETWORK CRASH: Cops Smash $2M Encrypted VIP Phone Ring

The coppers hit hard, mate. NSW detectives sent over 3000 messages to encrypted phones used by Sydneyโ€™s underworld, smashing a VIP network that supplied these devices to crims for murders, kidnappings, and drug deals ๐Ÿšฆ. The operation was netting more than $2m from selling around 1000 modified phones each year. Detective Superintendent Peter Faux said the phones were devious: front-facing cameras deactivated, international SIM cards, and data wiped with a wrong password. Raids in Botany, Banksmeadow, Kogarah, Bexley, and Rockdale netted 100 devices, $35k in cash, and luxury watches. Three brothersโ€”Hussein Dabaja, 25, Sami Dabaja, 26, and Hasan Dabaja, 29โ€”were nabbed and charged with serious offences. A fourth man also copped a charge. Superintendent Faux said the network was coordinated by an offshore entity, and detectives are now digging into the seized devices for more intel.
